Free working lunch

Every business is running one or the other. Most are running the wrong one, and working twice as hard for it.

Two things on the playground

The slide. Climb the whole ladder for one ride down, then you're standing at the bottom again. One kid at a time, and nobody can do the climbing for you. That's a funnel. Win a customer, start over.

The merry-go-round. The first few pushes are the hard ones. After that it carries itself, every push builds on the last, and anybody walking past can grab a bar and push.

That last part is the whole thing. Three things happen before anyone hires you:

Hear of youPrefer youChoose you

You control none of them. And if you're the only one pushing, it's the slide every single time.

What happens

Hands-on, and about your business rather than a case study. By the time we're done you'll know where your work actually comes from, who's already sending it to you without being asked, and what to change in the next ninety days.

Bring a way to look up your last ten customers. Your phone, your books, or just your memory. That's the whole prep.

Who it's for

Any business that runs on referrals and repeat customers. Trades, service, retail, professional, one person or twenty. Not a real estate class and you don't need to be an agent.

Taught by Jared Fenn, who has run a home-inspection business in Utah County since 2007 and teaches the continuing-education classes for agents across the valley.
